Brief Academic Achievements :

Dr. Suhara Beevy has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and academic administration. She has successfully guided two scholars to the award of the Ph.D. degree and has published 27 research papers in reputed national and international journals. She has actively participated in numerous national and international seminars, presenting her research findings and contributing to scientific discussions.

She has served as Organizing Secretary and Convener of various committees for national and international seminars organized by the Department of Botany. She was a Subcommittee Member (Research, Consultancy, and Extension) of the Steering Committee for the NAAC Accreditation of the University of Kerala in 2014. In recognition of her contributions to plant taxonomy, she was elected as a Fellow of the Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy (FIAAT) in 2010.

Dr. Suhara Beevy S has also held executive committee memberships in the Society of Cytologists and Geneticists, the Gregor Mendel Foundation, the Indian Botanical Society (Kerala Chapter), and the Calicut University Botanical Alumni Association. She is a life member of several professional organizations, including the All-India Congress of Cytology and Genetics, the Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy, the Journal of the Indian Botanical Society, and the Society of Cytologists and Geneticists.
