Brief Academic Achievements :

Prof. Dr Shivakumar P. M. pursued the UGC-sponsored Faculty Improvement Programme, leading to a Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Chennaveeraiah, Chairman, Department of Botany, Karnatak University, Dharwad. He has presented research papers at several national conferences and attended UGC-sponsored Orientation and Summer Institute programmes for college teachers.

He has served as a resource person for high school teacher training programmes, a member of the Board of Studies, and has contributed to the NAAC accreditation activities of DRM Science College, Davangere. He has published research papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
