Brief Academic Achievements :

Prof. Dr. P. R. Unnikrishna Pillai is a retired Principal and Professor of Botany, with three decades of teaching and research experience. He has been a recognised Research Guide at the University of Kerala since 2000 and has guided doctoral research in plant tissue culture and secondary metabolite production.

His work includes national and international publications and funded projects supported by KSCSTE and UGC. He has filed a patent related to in vitro secondary metabolite production. He has served on the Academic Council of the University of Kerala and has organised national conferences and workshops.
